SERVICES

Our goal is to discuss your needs and to develop a plan to bring your dream to life. The time is yours to use how you wish.
We will start off with a complimentary 15-minute call to discuss the scope of your project.
I’ll send you a questionnaire to fill out and you can send me photos of your space or other inspirational images. Depending on what you need, I can bring materials to our meeting like tile samples, fabric or paint swatches, or other helpful items.
Given the timeframe, it’s important to have a clear sense of your priorities. You will get a short report from me after we meet, but please take notes as I talk and ask questions.
Please note that I’ll provide an overview of ideas such as furniture suggestions/placement, lighting, paint colors, art ideas, or window treatment selections but I do not give you specific products to buy.
Examples of things I’ve helped with include rearranging rooms to have a better flow, providing a color scheme to reupholster pieces and design pillows, or provided a client with a “game plan” to renovate a bathroom.

Full service means just that: we take care of the entire project for you: designing the space (working along tradespeople as needed), picking out all items and ordering them, and coordinating the installation. It’s a true partnership for the client looking for someone to manage the entire process for them. (If you’re more of a DIY type looking for professional ideas or access to trade ordering, Designer By Your Side will be for you!)
Full service design means so much more than picking out comfy couches and fun wallpaper. We want to know how you want to live in the space and how you want it to feel when someone walks in. Understanding that before we begin will ensure we are on the same page.
From there, we get a sense of your style and what you like. We go to work creating two options for every room in advance of presentation day. We allow for a few tweaks, and then it’s go time.
Working with our many trusted vendors and partners, we coordinate necessary steps like painting and tiling, and procure your furnishings and fixtures. We set an install day which is an absolutely awesome and exciting day (or sometimes it’s a few days depending on client preference!).
Lastly, we take professional photographs which we will share with you.

You enjoy taking on DIY projects, but you’d like some professional guidance.
You would like help choosing furniture from retail or trade sources.
You have a room or two you’d like to redecorate and would love ideas for new lighting, rugs, art, or pillows.
You are building a new home or renovating an existing home involving major decisions and would like professional advice at various times for different parts of your project.
You’ve moved and would like a refresh or clean slate in your new home.
You like what you own, but it’s not working correctly in your space.
You’re confident at this but would just like someone willing to give an unbiased second opinion.
We will direct you to retail sources or provide trade sources, which you would order through us.
You can use this option in several ways over the course of six months.
