Even though diets such as Whole 30 or Paleo aren’t going to allow for Reese’s Peanut Butter cups or other sugary treats, you can blend up some delicious concoctions in your kitchen that will satisfy your cravings.
First, make sure you have a great blender. This one has been amazing for me and has been reliable and easy to clean.Version #1: Peanut Butter & Banana Shake
Fill your blender with 1-2 ice cubes, a frozen (or ripe) banana, 8-10 ounces of Almond milk (I prefer Silk brand), and 2 heaping tablespoons of peanut butter (you can use smooth or chunky). Blend for 30 seconds and enjoy!
Version #2: Peanut Butter & Chocolate Shake
Fill your blender with 1-2 ice cubes, 8-10 ounces of Almond milk, and 2 heaping tablespoons of peanut butter and 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder. Throw in a TBSP of frozen blueberries too. Blend for 30 seconds and enjoy!
I’ve also made shakes like these with Shakeology chocolate powder. It’s a great pre- workout breakfast.
