Blue and white relaxed bedroom…

Updating your bedroom will pay big dividends: after all, we spend 26 average years of our life sleeping. Make your bedroom a space you love!

Today I am sharing my newest bedroom design. It’s soft and welcoming, and includes a beautiful bed and a chair from one of my favorite places. The gray dresser adds a bit of interest, instead of just being white.

Here’s the bed! You NEED an attractive bed. It completes the entire look of the room. If you can’t splurge for a bed, buy an upholstered headboard.

Love this bed. You can find it here.

These chairs are the best. They are totally customizable in 100+ fabrics, they can be purchased in swivels as well. I own two and can’t say enough about them.

I own two of these chairs and love them!

Again, I love the gray dresser! It doesn’t have a ton of storage, but would work well if you also have a closet with storage space. It could also work well in a hallway.

This lamp works well (I love stripes!).

Such a fun lamp! You can find it here.

If you’re on the hunt for affordable table lamps (this one is a bit of a splurge), be sure to check out this post and this one! There are so many fantastic options out there for under $100 that will give you a designer look for less.

I also want to chat for a minute about art. I’m a huge fan of supporting local artists, and I love Etsy. The print I feature in this design is just one of many options. Check out a few other options that I love:

Here’s another Paris option!

The possibilities are endless for short money. Once you make your choice, you can either pick up a frame at someplace like Michael’s, or splurge and send it off to Framebridge where you can get a professional look for under $100 for small pieces.
