Boys Bedroom Design
I wanted to make some changes to my son’s room to elevate the feel of the space and make it look a bit more mature…this boys bedroom design heads in that direction.
I’m also studying interior design at RISD right now and one of the assignments was to make a mood board for a room. This seemed like a great project to focus on. My son is 16 now, and I want his room to still maintain a “boy” feel while also working for the next few years until he leaves the nest.
He loves Boston sports and to ski so I tried to bring that in a bit; Etsy is a fantastic source for unique artwork. I’ve included all sources below.
The paint color is Beacon Gray from Benjamin Moore. For a greige color, I would choose Edgecomb Gray, also from Benjamin Moore. It’s a stunning color and really brightens any room.
Chairlift Pillow | Over-the-door Basketball Hoop | Fish Sheets | Mountain Bookends | Skiing Photo | Glass Lamp | Reclaimed Wooden Bed | Hotel Collection Duvet | Bedside Table | Clock | Throw Blanket | Rug | Red Sox Art
