A few years ago, I jumped on the pom pom hat craze and I have never looked back.
When nasty weather sets in, you don’t want to be caught out in the cold without your hat on. Pom pom hats have been all the rage, and with good reason! They tend to be very warm and they also look stylish. I like to have at least 4-5 colors a season on hand, and I pick one out each day that suits my mood or outfit.
Here in New England, some winter mornings are so cold that I put my hat on as soon as I get out of bed and make my coffee! I thought it would be fun to put together a list of some that I am loving lately. Hats make fantastic gifts because you know they will get used. You can also buy them guilt-free for yourself because you can easily justify the need to stay warm!
In terms of what to look for: I’ve provided a range of prices and types of materials used. I also lean towards shopping at spots where I love the customer service and shipping. I always choose a black and a gray, and then I like to have 2-3 others on hand each season. Most of these can be hand-washed or in some cases washed on delicate if you can remove the pom pom.
